Gourmandise

I've been traveling the world, thus the gap in posts.  But I'm back from Ontario and ready to tell you all about the best bakery downtown:  Gourmandise!  The loose translation is: one who takes great pleasure from food. 

Okay, so there are many great bakeries in SLC, but this one is just divine.  My father-in-law who has lived in France and visited Europe a gazillion times says that it would give most Patisseries in Paris a run for their money.  I have tried almost every dessert.  I love:  the Chocolate Raspberry  Ganache, the Strawberry Mille Feuille, the Croissant Pudding, and the Fresh Mango Raspberry Tartlette that is made only on Saturdays. 
The sandwiches are delish as well.  Try the Brie Bartlet Panini, so tasty.
